FL studio dB meter question

Hi! I got a strange question for FL studio users.

My dB meter plugin (standard in FL studio, in effects list) gives a higher value than the dB meter in the mixer. Is this normal? Which one should I trust?

Assuming the plugin is located at a mixer track, and not on the master channel track, it shows you the db level of that track only.

always keep your db meter on the last line of effects, so that all the effects will be counted by the db meter. everything under it, won't go it.
