Sonar 8 automation

I've been reading and trying to find out how but haven't found out a solution yet.

In reason its easy you can set the parameter to solo/mute certain tracks at certain times and do everything else and thats what im trying to do on sonar also. Is it possible

SONAR has Read and Write buttons. If you want SONAR to store an automation you turn on Write and then record your actions. Then if Read is on it should follow your actions on playback.

Read your manual. It's all in there.

Good question.

I seldom use automated mutes.

For soloing I use the mute tool (or delete parts in arrangement) to mute out everything else.

key shortcut Q will mute clips

I use that and I use volume envelopes for muting parts in an arrangement.

Odd that you can't automate the solo button though.
