Sequencing with MPC2000

Alright y'all. I got my mpc working with my proteus2000 and midi controller keyboard, but I have small probelm. Say I record a drum kit from the proteus. How can I add more sounds from another kit to the sequence. It seems as if every time I try to pull sounds from another kit it changes my sounds to that new kit. I appreciate the help. Thanks!!

Save your kit as a program first, i work with one program (kit) per song (sequence)....that way there is no confusion when you play your sequence and the wong program (sounds) are loaded to the pads.
