ok so im running cubase sx, vsti's, and running an sb live
ive written a track and 99% of the track utilises vsti's. the other 1% is the standard percussion onboard my sb live. now im having a rpblem exporting the completed track. exporting it to wav, i get all of the elements except the sounds from the live.

i need to know how to export the entire track mixed down including the elements from the live. ive tried recording in parralell to play in sx and ive tried opening soundforge and hitting record but soundforge doesnt like to run at the same time as sx.

can anybody help me out? short of changing the samples to something on my hdd.

thier might be easier ways.... but what you can do is export the midi track as a midi file, play the midi file with the media player or whatever and then record the soundcard's midi output.

Or better still, Cubase vst had a 'disable audio' under audio options/setup, not sure whether sx has this though, and not sure whether disabling audio in cubase actually releases the driver, but you could try it out .....
