Reason question

I'm having trouble with the Dr. Rex player in Reason. I've read my manual, and followed its instructions, and I still can't get the dumb thing to work.

I've got my loop exactly how I want it, but I can't create sequencer notes from it. I've followed the supposed instructions, by placing the "L" and "R" markers where they should be, then pressing the "TO Track" button on the player. Nothing happens. I've also tried right-clicking and pressing loop to track, but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

before clicking the To Track command, you have to be sure you selected the Dr Rex track in the sequencer, otherwise, nothing will happen
