Reason 8 and Recycle?

I'm new to Reason 8 as I jumped from using Reason 3 for many years. I was going to buy Recycle for the purpose of sampling but heard someone mention off hand in a thread that you don't need Recycle if you have Reason 7 or above.

Is this true? Can Reason 8 do everything Recycle does? Is there anything Recycle does better than Reason? Or Differently?

Reason 5 [first one I touched before going to 8] is basically reason with recycle in the timeline.
There's also mini recycle in kong etc but essentially newer reason is basically reason, record and recycle.

But the only way to find out for yourself is to "demo" it. Tried it before but that software, that's a personal preference thing.
 
Thank you. I'll spend more time getting fluent with Reason 8. If I feel limited at some point I'll take another look at Recycle.

Another question because I'm already here... If I have dual monitors is it possible to display only the rack on one and only the sequencer on another?
Or only the mixer on one? etc..
