Reason 5 playing sounds before they are supposed enter the track

I started using my first DAW (Reason 5) a couple days ago and I've been trying to self teach myself how to use it but I ran into an issue I can't solve (probably an obvious fix). In the sequencer I have a sound that's supposed to come into the track a bit later but when I play it back or convert it to an audio file it plays every sound all at once from the beginning even though it's laid out not to do so in the sequencer window.

Never came across that issue so not sure what to tell ya. How did you make that possible?
All the daws I've tinkered with never did that.
