I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but when ive been using reason's redrum I noticed that if my melody doesnt loop perfectly every 2 bars or 4 bars or 8 bars etc then its pretty much impossible to use the pattern section of redrum for my drum pattern. I know you can change the amount of steps there are in the pattern but I still cant seem to get the clap or snare or whatever it is in pattern section of redrum to loop right, it always sounds off and im beggin to get frustrated, lol. Is there a way that you can extend your melody so its always 8 bars or 4 bars or something? Or is there a secret to knowing exactly how many steps there should be or do I need to change the time signature or something? Any help would be appreciated cuz I cant seem to figure it out, if there even is any solution. THANKS!
