Abandoned sonar to 2 years due to having bought an axiom pro 61, but recently abandoned the axiom and "I'll buy a new midi controller" have a akai mpd'll buy a m-audio or navigation
Made suggestions to make way for a new DAW
I am undecided which should start
keep Reason
Cubase
sonar
Ableton? Used but loses sound like much plastic, FL Studio out of the question.
I produce more hip hop and dubstep.

It's best for you to try the demos and see which is best for you, because all daws are pretty much the same. See what daw you will like the most and with which is easiest to make beats for you.

You can get demos easily these days. Current day DAWs offer more or less the same features. If you could skin all of them to a particular theme, then it would be nearly impossible to set them apart.
