Need help with FL Studio 8

Okay, I have FL Studio 8 (Fruity loops edition) and I am having trouble putting a loaded sample into the playlist. This is what i do:
1. Open Fl
2. Right click first channel (Kick) and replace with audio clip
3. Right click the audio clip channel and load sample

After the sample is loaded I click on the playlist to put the sample on it and it says "Only available in Producer Edition."

If you know why this is doing this or have any pointer on how to fix it let me know.

You have answered your own question. Not all the FL Studio additions are made with the same ability. You will need to upgrade your version to do what you are describing.
 
well a friend of mine has just the demo version and can do what im trying to do. i just cant get the sample to show up on the playlist
 
hmm alright thanks for the help
ill try the demo and see what happens
