logic 8 issue with motifxs arpeggiator

okay so they problem im having is when i try to record a arpeggio from my motif in to logic 8 it either changes the pattern completely r records it and play back noise some type of distorted noise can anyone help please
 
I have them, but i cant seem to understand whats wrong here. I experience some major glitches myself, but i havent experienced this.
are you tryin to record the midi straight into logic, or on the motif first and then into logic?

it was done on the motif first then i try and record it into logic
