How to view sysex in cubase ?

hi !

i performed an multi bank dump from my virus to cubase, i saw the MIDI In lit up, but i'd liketo verify that the data is right into cubase :) is there a way to view the received sysex data ?
 
certainly in cubase 5.x one of the modules allowed you to view sysex. not sure whether there's an equivalent in sx, but worth checking. not at home right now so i can't check. of course, you could just try sending the sysex back 2 your synth to see if it works.
 
i remember one i found it day by chance, i don't rememebr how :(
i think it's somewhere in the controller view or something like that
i'll try sending it back to the virus tho
 
Try This:

Edit -> List -> Double click on the sysex message you want to look at and the sysex editor will pop up. This only works on Cubase VST I believe. If it doesnt show up...goto module -->setup and click yes for sysex editor then you should be okay. Cubase SX doesnt transmit or edit sysex messages AFAIK. Nor can you make mixer maps that transmit sysex like you used to be able to with 5.0 and earlier. I havent been keeping up with the SX builds though so maybe they added an editor and the ability to handle sysex since v1.0
