how to use soundbanks

what do i need to use a soundbank or soundfont???? and how do i use it????

Load it up into a software sampler, such as Kontakt or EXS. And play along..

A "soundbank" can be just about anything - a set of patches for a certain synth, a set of samples in certain formats or, well, something else. There's no single program that opens all soundbanks. It's a generic term.

SoundFont, on the other hand, is a sample format. Basically it's a packaged set of samples with the keyboard mapping etc. already done - a sort of an universal sampler patch. Supported by many - but not all - software samplers.

as i know, there's built-in SoundFont player in FL Studio.
