How to make Polyrhythms Logic Pro ?

I understand tempo changes and time signature changes, but I'm confused on how to make Polyrhythms other than counting both rhythms.

I don't like writing polyrhythms as two time signatures simultaneously, I find it uneccessarily overcomplicating and unclear in notation

Counting both rhythms is a perfectly valid way to do it, I'd stick with that method

Yes! ^^^^

I don't use Logic, but I can tell you that 3 over 4, for instance, can be as simple as playing long (quarter-note) triplets over a four-to-the-floor beat. Also, if you have a sequencer that allows you to create, say, 8 or 16 steps, and you can remove a step from the pattern, that can create some interesting polyrhythms.
