HELP plug in problem in Logic Pro!

We use logic studio 9 and all the sudden when we go to open a plugin such as space designer reverb the box just flashes and then disappears. this happens on any track with any kind of plug in....any suggestions?

we tried to quit and restart...even restarted the computer but no solution. thanks in advance
 
could be a technical glitch because it is a new release. to be honest i wouldn't use any new releases if you're working on a professional level, look at logic 8, it took two patches for it to become stable.

Also what is the technical details of your mac? what model, etc.
