how can I get a hard punchy bassline with FL Studio? Is it in the plugins, if so, which ones? if it's all in the EQ what are the settings? I'm trying to get bass to sound West Coast and Down South.
anything described as punchy would likely come from EQ. Use the parametric EQ and focus on sliders 2 and 3... boosting them will add more punch to anything, snare, kick, horn, whatever....
insert the BOOBASS in FL, its given to you, and mess wit it thru the parametric EQ.. FL 7's P.EQ 2 is unreal. MOst comprehensive i've ever worked with. I've messed with alot of programs, but it is definately an advanced tool.
