Gross Beat In FL Studio

Guys I'm having trouble using automation with gross beat. Everytime I play the beat the automated part of the beat it will skip the first note and cause the pattern to sound wrong. What do I do ?
 
Make sure you created an automation clip of the mix not the mute feature. Make sure the points on the automation clip are all the way up and all the way down. Make sure the points are aligned with notes. Sometimes the gross beat pattern skips notes, so it could be a pattern you selected in gross beat that does effect the first note, like a tape stop. Hopefully this helped.
