FL Studio -> Muting/Sololing tracks via Midi Controller

Title saids it all, how can I mute/solo mixer channels via midi controller? If it's not possible via direct connection to FL's mixer, are there any plugins that will mute/solo channels?

try adding fruity mute effect and automate that.

i actually discovered a workaround, but its useless. you can assign your mute/solo button cc# to match that of the slider. then you can effectively toglle the volume of that mixer slider like a mute on/off switch BUT it doesnt return your channel volume back to the position you muted from, but instead it toggles 100 volume and 0 volume. Useless.
