FL Studio 8 is not saving my FLP

I've noticed this alot lately, and its really annoying.

whenever i save as a .zip it doesn't save the FLP inside, so when i go to open it, it won't open. Its really annoying, because i've lost a few projects because it does this. :mad:

Any one else had this problem, and a way to solve it?
 
It saves everything, so any WAV files etc into the zip, instead of just the midi data.

i found out what was happening now anyway. It was saving the FLP but renaming it to .zip inside of the original zip
 
yeah as i said i found the problem, so renaming to .flp fixed it.
