Cubase Query

alright,

my VST instruments refuse to trigger from the midi info after closing and re-open the song although the tracks are still assigned to the instruments,

any ideas...

sorry, never heard of this before ........
which version of Cubase?
does this always occur or only with certain VSTi's?
and you're sure the midi tracks are set to the correct output?........

I was using 5.1 but have thankfully moved on to a far more stable SX, seems to suit my system better,
