cubase vst32 recording problem

hi everyone

i have a sb live! & virus C. when i launch cubase i get this message:

"the audio input is not activated. recording audio is not possible.
please click on the asio control panel button in the system (vst)
or device setup (nuendo) dialog.
make sure a device name is selected in the Input Ports section and activate the corresponiding check box in the first column."


and i am unable to record anything. How can i get this to work ?
 
Hey hatembr, it sounds like you need to enbale your audio.

What you'll need to do is go to "Options" click on "Audio Set up", then click on enable audio.

dont forget though with an sb card you only have two inputs, and the asio drivers you will find they cause a white noise loop in your comp so beware to hit that reset devices button to

Ok try this, go into "Panels" then "VST Inputs" check to see if your Inputs have a green lite in the middle. If not, tick the darkened green box.
