Ok so there are alot of protools users who are complete snobs to the cubase and logic sequencers. Call me ignorant but i can't see how protools can be THAT much better.. What is the real difference that gives protools that big respect above the vst sequencers like cubase and logic. I would really like to know before i start making big investments in the vst scene. thanks!

not really about the soft ware much, there is'nt much difference between cubase and pro tools (within reason)
but were protools stands out is with the hardware that goes with it, like the mix farm cards that go in the back of your comp that give you 24 tracks on the one card... then connected to a digidesign 888 or some thing even better.
its not about the software its about the relible hardware (which costa an arm and a leg)

i think you should visit the digidesign site www.digidesign.com

and i think you'll see what the fuss is about

peace

Thanks mate! After checking the website, things are starting to become much clearer now.
