Convert DVD audio to mp3????

I need to extract audio from a DVD movie. I d like to use directly my PC s DVD driver and not a DVD player. I read here that wav lab, sound forge or adobe audition could read the DVD and let me record it s audio..but I think that s not true..cause I tried all of those softs and no one could open the DVD format inside it...I also tried some "dvd to Mp3" softs but the trial versions couldn t do it.
So, I d like someone to tell me step by step the procedure to extract audio from a DVD movie to a audio software in a way to obtain the best reording quality..and I d also need to know wich softs could read the DVD format and play it s audio so that I can edit as I wish..

Well, I am using convertxtodvd which is a application that allows you to rip certain types into dvd burnable ones. So, according to my personal experiecne you should be go for convertxtodvd, it will definitely works.
