if i move/clone my drive to a bigger hard drive (windows and all programs) would i have to drives with the same boot info and programs ? so, lets say if i wanted to test out a plug-in in my daw could i boot into my clone drive and i would steel have my program drive to boot into ? i hope i am marking since .

Programs won't run, youll have to reinstall those... for the most part.

there will be a shortcut for the programs, dont be fooled tho the actual programs will need to be installed

so if i do a clone drive your saying it wont work , that i know is wrong. i know i can clone a drive to a new drive .what i want to know is would it delete from the old drive when i clone to the new drive or would it steel be there ?

when u clone, ur not deleting ne thing from the original drive.

winxp might complain about being reactivated. not sure about vista and ^
