I'm using a SB!Live player 1024 (I think), it has on it mic in, line in,headphone out, line out & digital out. I am trying to record my synth onto an audio track in Cubase, but.... it will only let me record it through the mic in.
However the mic in, is a little noisy, where as the line in is not, and is much more suitable for recording the synth through.
Can I change cubase to record from the line in on my soundcard or shall I buy another soundcard? If a new sound card is my only option which soundcard (keeping noise & low budget in mind) would you recommend?
