What other sequencer programs are there that is really good besides fruity loops?

Cubase SX (excellent but expensive, get the LX version instead)

Reason 2.0 (all-in-one) also, a bit like FL, but beware you can;t control external MIDI devices (not to my knowledge)

There's also Logic, but beware they are stopping support for PC (bought by Apple).
