Best DAW if you don't have midi? (Dorm Setup)

I didn't have a midi cause I didn't have room. Novation looks a bit too big

Any daw works without a midi keyboard, (at least every one that I know of) but it seems a bit silly to purchase a DAW just because you can't have a midi keyboard right now.

Well I have one now, but I still think Pro Tools is ass for recording midi. Maybe I need to tweak some settings, but I'm going to look for my old FL code.

Get logic. Logic will come with a virtual keyboard for inputing Midi! If not you can always go with Ableton and get a small midi keyboard (25Key). With Logic/Ableton and Pro-tools your way ahead of most.
