Hey Guys,
I just switched from FL Studio 11 to the renowned Ableton Live 8 and I'm having a basic issue. I need help getting the audio and MIDI clips aligned by length in Session Mode. By that, I mean one sound's wavelength goes up to 6.4.2 and trying to manually match the rest of the clips to that same duration led me to trial and error to get all the clips the same length, with decent success but after a minute the loops get out of sync.
I've tried messing with the Start and End points in the Sample properties but clicking 'set' for either of them gives me a completely off value (i.e. the clip that was 6.4.2 in length went to 5.3.1 after hitting 'set' with the appropriate values as an input).
I really really want to like Ableton and I'm skimming through the manual now but figured you masters online might be a quicker avenue.
