So based on advice from another thread and some personal research, I was pretty set on getting the AIR expansion pack for Pro Tools 11. Mainly for transfuser and Hybrid, but the whole pack is pretty damn good for 300 bucks. But then the thought occurred to me that I can also get Ableton Live for student pricing. Which won't have hybrid, but will come with lots of other instruments; and of course Ableton Live Software.
Suite would come to 480 ish for student pricing, Standard would come to 20 bucks less than the Air Expansion Pack. I didnt really want to spend more than 300 bucks, so if I go for suite is it gonna be worth the extra 180 after rewire? Should I even consider standard? Or If I go that direction might as well go with suite?
Taking ableton in school so I am be learning it anyway. But those instruments in the Air expansion pack look so damn nice. Instrument vs Instrument I think the pack wins, but if I go with ableton I will also get ableton.
How are the stock instruments that come with Ableton standard? Suite?
