Ableton 9 - What is the difference between Sounds and Instruments?

There is those two categories in the browser, but I can't figure out what is the difference between them.

The sounds category organizes all your instrument presets and racks according to the type of sound they make. The instrument category is just your instruments and their presets are organized in the subfolders of each instrument.
