What thread adapter do I need to fit my AT 8441 shock mount?

Hey,

So I just got my AT 4033 mic today, and I have a mic stand set up, but the thread on the stand doesn't fit my shock mount.

This is my mic arm (16mm thread): Heavy Duty Studio Arm Mic Stand by Gear4music at Gear4music.com

This is my shock mount (AT 8441): AT8441 studio microphone suspension shock mount. Free data sheet by GB Audio

Not sure what kind of thread adapter I'd need the sizing numbers had me confused, and I can't find any info on what size the thread is on my shock mount.

Safe one

You probably just need what's called a "euro adaptor," which should have come with the shock mount. I'm very surprised that it didn't; did you buy used or new? In any event, pick-up one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Jbbtop1-Adap...=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00N76UKOK

That should do the trick; I've only seen two mike stand threads really, standard US and standard Euro.

I bought it used from ebay, I just can't find any measurement for the hole on the shock mount which is smaller than the bit on my stand, so it's probably 3/8 then...

Maybe this one would be alright? https://www.amazon.co.uk/VisioSound-Microphone-Stand-Thread-Adaptor/dp/B00OCN817A/ref=pd_sim_421_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1AN01VE8XEQNJE907RX7

Yeah, that's the same in reverse for a mike stand, but that's most likely the correct size, if that is how you need to configure things (stand to mount, rather than mount to stand, if that makes sense?)...

Yeah it'd work like that since the male part of the stand mount is 16mm to go with the larger female end of the adapter and then into the smaller female end of the shock mount... so yeah should be all good, thanks!
