What hardware do i need to get started with music production ?

Hi,

I want to make my own songs and record vocals but i just dont know what hardware to start with.
I get alot of advice here and there but its getting to a point that i dont know where to start with.
I need a soundcard, monitors a mic and a MAC.

What kind of specs does the MAC need to have? i've been told atleast these:

i7 processor
16 gb RAM
256 ssd
1/2 tb HDD
2tb video card

Please can somebody help me with this.
My budget is on about € 3000.

there is no such thing as a 2tb video card.
The only thing you need, depends on what you're doing. Edm, real music or both edm and real music.
For edm, computers or mpcs or other electronic sequencers are a necessity. For real non sampled or non synthesized music, real instruments.

Basically justa computer and software's all that is needed, but some people [myself included] prefer usiing drumpads and midi keyboards with software.

I meant 2gb videocard.

I will be making real aswell as electronic music.

Well I'm not sure what you plan on doing but basically there's two routes:

hardware daw, software daw or a third option called both.

Mpc,mv8800 is a hardware daw. maschine is a hybrid hardware daw, reason fl studio ableton cubase etc are software daws.

Drumpads are hardware devices that are just controllers btw. Midi pianos too. hardware romplers are pianos that make their own sounds and such.

That computer's enough because even tablets can run these things decently.
