Hey FP, Ive been working on my mixes a lot this past year, training my ear and stepping my understanding and comprehension of compression up, which was the hardest element for me to overcome in the past. As Ive been using the BF76, i've began to feel I would like to get the outboard compressor itself. It would be my first addition to my outboard set up, then I plan on getting the API 550b 4 Band EQ module. I know the difference is subtle but I can definitely hear it.
What is your take on analog compression over digital audio and do you think its worth the 2k?
