Hey everyone, I've been producing on and off as a hobby for about 2 years and just starting taking it more seriously very recently. I currently use FL studio + software plugins to create 100% of my sounds as well as the overall mix. It works just fine for now but I'm curious as to the benefits of physical hardware, especially in the realm of live performances. Could someone give me some advice on making the transition to the stage if I end up at that point? And live performances aside, is there any benefit to creating studio tracks with that kind of equipment? I see all these videos online of some of my favorite artists and they all have synth boards. I use massive for most of my synths -- am I missing out?
