Hi all, I was just wanting to know how I would go about playing 2 midi patterns together without a lot of hassle. You hear it in almost every future/deep house song. I know you can do it by using the arpegiator feature in sylenth but surely there is another way to do it as not all synthesizers have an arpegiator. Struggling on this at the minute. Is it just a case of trying to get the second midi pattern to fit well with the first pattern. I've tried that and it isnt easy to say the least! An example is below starting at 15 seconds

Piano roll or step sequencer is the go to for doin two things at a time if that's what you mean. Daws can do multiple tracks at the same time if that's what you mean...?Multitracking?...but in general overdubbing is the mkre common, easier route for something like that.
