Can you use a mpc ren or studio and midi/sync with maschine studio?

Can you use a mpc ren or studio and midi/sync with maschine studio? Producer from Timbalands camp on IG was using both together i just wanted to know could this be done. like drum sequence on mpc and use sounds from maschine?
 
I don't see why not, especially if you're using them via a DAW - in which case it's just like using two plugins at the same time.
