Akai MPK Series

I have been and am looking into the Akai MPK series of controllers as I'm trying to decide between the MPK249 and MPK261 as there are no stores in my city that stock Akai. I'm eventually wanting to use an MPK with an MPC 2000XL. Who is using any MPK series controller and if so which one?

I tried hitt'n u up... but it said u disabled pm's or somthin like that....
But i use the mpk49.... first gen...
I love it.... everything comes n handy...
U just hip'd me to the second gen.... i never knew they dropped somthin new...

I like the Akai controllers. I have a few. I found that an M audio 88 key is great for synths bass etc. I use FL sTudio. To be honest you can do without the MPC and save money by chopping w your DAW. Producers are really moving away from drum machines and using VSTS. I would recommend moving in that direction. It is all personal preference though.
