Switching between monitors

Hey,

I was looking for a passive AB box for switching between my KRK 5s and my new JBL 8 monitors, when I came across a product that I already had laying around the house

in amazon its called: Morley ABY Selector Combiner Routing & Switching Device


My brother used to use it in his band because he used 2 guitars with different tunings, anyway, if I used a TRS splitter, could I just plug my 2 monitors in and switch between them?

I use a samson c-control but its a bit old now. Does the job but there is some noise from one of the volume controls. Guess I need to open it and clean it! lol
 
You should be able to connect a few monitors to a multi I/O audio interface, switch between them from your DAW and do surround sound mixes too....that is assuming your DAW doesn't totally suck ass.
