I'm a noob to the asr10 and I'm trying to save sounds to a floppy disk for the asr10. I downloaded a sample of sampled sounds from a site, it's in .eda format.. When I copied the file to the floppy it said "Bad Device ID"... Do I to convert this format to something? What are some free convertors? Would I need any other type of software?

ASR-10 is outdated and no more support...you have to sample with the external ports and the OS is so old you have to format from scratch..the Chickensys is garbage..i bought that and you cant even format in ASR10 with a newer PC these days...I sold the ASR-10 for dirt cheap..like $300 is the best I could sell it for...good luck
