Does anybody know of a site that would have a croud background sound?

what kind of crowd noises? just people talking, cheering, booing/hissing?
if it's just people talking, or whatever, you can do that yourself. Record like 10+ people saying anything.... random conversations, whatever. then layer them all on each other. Split each one in the middle and put the end in the beginning/beginning at the end. So now you've got 20 people take each and copy, and move the copies over a few seconds.
That should be crowded enough... if not, record more people, and/or keep splitting and rearranging to add more "people"

Have you tried napster under sound effects or FX? Thats where I got all of my cartoons sound effects library from!!!
easy process:
1. grab mini-disc or dat or even a crappy microcassette recorder
2. go to a public place that has the crowd sound you're looking for
3. hit record
Sound design is fun. I always remember that the laser blasts in Star Wars are high tension wires hit with a wrench and pulling the microphone away quickly.
