timestretch/bpm match for mpc 2000xl

someone help me!!!!!!

im having problems understanding the bpm match on the mpc ... if someone could pls explain a couple of things for me


1. what is the source temp?

2. what is the new tempo??

comin from a major novice i think that source tempo refers to the tempo of the sound that you sampled which you tap nsync to when it is played , new tempo will be the tempo that you want to use which is aqured also by tapping the tempo pad . hope this helps .

how very un-wicked that works... you aren't even able to give the mp3 an actual digit??

i mean do you really have to tap? Can't you just enter the two digits for precise stretching?

i figured it out ... i must have been brain farting or something ... liet, u can tap to get the tempo.. i just dont think u can do that in the timestretch screen... hypnosis, thanks again mane ....
