SU 700 for studio use?

science of self

New member
I`m currently using the su700 for pre-production.

I was wondering how can I use it abroad in a professional studio setting.

Especially hooking it up to a mixing console that I

may be able to individually tweak each sound.

Is there a way without purchasing the output expansion

board?

Any help would be nice.

you should get the output extension to be able to tweak each track on the studio mixer separately. or you can record each of your instruments separately in an audio sequencer and then tweak each of those audio tracks remotely in the studio.

however, there is no way you can really tweak your bassline (audio-wise i mean) fromt he mixer if you also have 10 other tracks running throught he same audio jacks. once you get those separated you can do anything (apply effects etc..) to each independently

Thanx Mano One!

I know there`s a lot of buzz about RS7000,

but I`m a SU700 zealot to the very end.

This machine is off the rack!!! and I would

advise anybody who cares to get one of these.

The SU is now dirt cheap and it run circles

around the MPC as far as audio expression

and features you get right out the box. I`m very

pleased with the SU 700. I wish you could hear

the tracks I`m doing with this machine!

Peace

Unfortunatley you can't tweak each individual sound on a board without the expansion board. Just tweak all you can within the box and then record the beat in stereo on 1 stereo track. The beautiful thing about SU is the ability to go back and refine your sequence by tweaking on the fly and dropping things out and then bringing them back in. It's all in the arrangement sun.
