Scsi Problem with the 2000xl

Hey guys. I got my scsi cable today and i hooked everthing up and everything fits. But when i go to save to the scsi the mpc freezes up on me and it tells me to wait.Now i have been waiting for like an hour on the same screen and still nothing. Thanks guys any help would be great.
 
u sure your using a scsi drive and not parralel? sounds like your mpc is froze... what exactly are you linking it to?
 
After some reading around I found out that I have a paralle port not scsi so I order a scsi from ebay. Thanks for the responces guys thanks.
 
you'll be ok most likely the mpc's scsi is alot better than the older scsi
wich i've fried pleny of my gear on...

just remember have your scsi hooked up B4 you turn your **** on!!!!
