Hi,
I'm one of those with hundreds of discs and lot's of sample material. I need to organize it so that I can access it and organize it logicaly. I have AKSYS in my PC to comunicate with my S6000. I also have Vsampler; a VST instrument that imports AKAI discs as well. If I use CD extract to acquire all the sample data and keep it on Hard drive, the Vsampler won't see it properly; there is a bug that they know of... There are some loading issues with AKSYS too.
Wavelab by Steinberg has a great data base but is seems to be wave based and won't follow all sample data. Does anyone have system to keep this material organized and available instantly??? You know the story, how does it end????
