first off, hello. im new here!
i've been djing onand off since early 1996 and producing on and off about a year. im going to get into production quite a bit more now.
i have reason, rebirth, and a slew of shareware software programs for my pc.
i want some hardware to go with it, but im not sure what would be better. would a KORG setup of the ea-1, er-1, and es-1 beat out just a RS7000 by itself? i really would like an rs7000 as they look to be incredible. does the rs7000 justify being twice as much as the es-1? if it does, than im sure generating my own drums and synths on the computer and dloading them to the rs7000 would more than makeup for a lack of an er-1 and ea-1.
my other question is this....
how easy is it to hook the rs7k up to a pc and dload/upload sounds? if i get a song in the rs7000, is it easily uploaded to my pc in .wav format?
thanks in advance.
