so i got my drums loaded........i find a sample.......chop it and click "slice sound" and then my samples are on my pads but it replaced all my drum sounds

yes ive read the manual
 
I guess you feel no need to mention what you are using or even what your intended result is to any degree of specificity.

... not exactly the best way to get help.
 
sooooo, what are you asking? you loaded a sound on a pad, and want to know why it plays instead of the drum sound that was there previosly? i have a headache. . . i need a drink.

im usin the mpc 2000xl

i load my drums into the pads....

i go listen to some records....sample this one i found....trim it up.........i want it to load on bank B so i click B then click slice sound hoping it will load to it ....but it jus makes all my drums i had loaded before dissapear and has the sample chops in the pads on bank A
