I am gonna purchase a mpc 2000xl. I am 15 years old. What other stuff would I need to make beats. I know I need like turntables and a mixer. But I am not sure what else. Also I wanna make beats without the use of a computer.
 
MPC, Turntables, Mixer. Thats all you need right now, maybe get a synth if your gonna be adding your own instruments
 
I'd go for a 1000 honestly. But thats just preference. I'd get some headphones, a turntable and cheap mixer and then vinyl. Then your straight. Good MPC samples for the newer mpc's can be found Here
