Need help making a bass line.

Im trying to do a bassline using Piano Roll in FL Studio.

Id like to do it on the keyboard...(im using an ASR-10) but im not getting any sound from the keys only sounds I can get is from whatever is on the step sequencer. But even if I go that route I can only get one pitch from that sound...im stuck help!:hmmm:
 
You have a asr but only use it for a midi controller? The asr has a pretty good algorithm for making patches from a few sampled notes you should sample in a note place it on middle c and let the asr make a keyboard patch from it. The futher you get from c the more artifacts you will hear.

also sounds like your asr is not hooked up into your interface correctly what is your set up we can figure out how to get sound or else you payed way to much for a midi controller
