MPD32 Reason4.0 Sampling

Just got my mpd. Trying to figure out the best way to sample and play the samples on the drum pads. Back when i was using a keyboard i was loading the samples into the NN-19 and playing them off the keyboard. Anyone have any other better suggestions????
 
There is no "best" way. Only a more comfortable way. If you've been having success doing it one way, why switch?? But if you do decide to try different ways, figure them out on your own. It helps the whole "finding your style" process.

Another question...
I want to control the length of the sample to be played. For example when i load the sample in Red drum and hit the pad, it only plays a short length of the sample as supposed to the entire sample. How do I control and edit that???? Same goes for the NN-19
