MPC 2000 XL to PC hookup???

Hello ppl im Emin, I just joined PF. I got my self MPC 2000Xl. I was wondering if someone would know how to connect my midi keys "evolution" and MPC 2000xl to my PC. Im running Vista. Ive been composing music for sometime using FLP and cool edit for editing. I think i need to step my sound up a bit and hope MPC 2000 would help me do so.

I think you rushed into buying it, an MPC doesn't "step your sound up" it's a sequencer, it does the same thing as FLP.

i unerstand what it does. ive benn using flp for 8 yrs now. I believe with mpc i will be able to slice my beats and sample tihngs much easyer... than working with FLP. I guess depends on what U r prudusing..
